Good Morning Tuesday, 7th October 2025

Good morning to every one on a rather dull, overcast day. Temperatures in the low/mid 20s only, which seems very cool after yesterday’s 30° - had to drag the old cardigan out again.

Had to get milk this morning so I was actually there moments after the supermarket opened . Unfortunately I could not resist throwing a packet of Milk Chocolate Liquorice Bullets into my basket

Spent a very short time trying to squeeze a few more leaves into my green bin but think I have to accept that it is full.

Spoke to my middle son yesterday, looks like I have grandkid and dog sitting duties one weekend later in the month.

Talking of dogs, I am seriously considering getting a rescue dog. we shall see.

Not a lot happening today, have a good one.

Take care…

Morning Bruce and all who follow…
A decent morning here in Wales, just going down for a full Welsh breakfast, no black pudding.

Good morning …well not very good as it turns out. I’ve kept the moans to my ‘hospital procedures’ thread so they can be read or ignored. I can understand it being ignored.

Have the best possible day

Morning all…

Today, has always been the day my wife tends to my father in law, who passed away nearly two weeks ago. So now, she is at a bit of a loose end. We are partly still dealing with his estate and funeral arrangements and its getting complicated with trying to arrange stuff when people don’t cooperate. The only good thing which will come out of this, is we will no longer have to deal with my FIL’s step family, who are not the nicest of people. (Long story here).

So today, we are still taking some of his stuff to the recycling centre (lost count how many times we’ve been) and getting to the end of it. There’s going to be a slideshow of photos of my FIL during the funeral service and no one can agree what pictures to submit to it - but I’m the one having to set this all up! So the saga continues.

Anyways, just come back from my walk to see how the swans are doing, but two cygnets appear to be missing. Probably wandered off somewhere.

Have a great day all…

 :+1:
