Good morning to all you chocolate addicts, now is the time for withdrawal symptoms to kick in. Actually I didn’t have any chocolate at all over the Easter break, that is probably a first for me.
Walk as usual this morning took my TZ110 camera with me again just to get it worn in so to speak, all the years I have had it, it usually only gets used when I travel.
I couldn’t resist this fig tree. They are such a gorgeous tree.
Yesterday the BOM promised no rain but late morning it got very dark and, bugger me, if it didn’t start to rain, I had to rush out and get all my washing under the car port. BOM only has one job - to predict the weather! definitely not expecting the 1.5mm we ended up with
Anyway it is much warmer today, at the moment it is about 30° and lovely outside

Not too much exciting going on here. Went for a drive yesterday and ran into problems with my car, now sat in a garage waiting to get it fixed. Not a great start to the day and I have to take the wife to the gym later.
Same as Barry weather wise , live a few mile away , the plants I bought at the GC. yesterday were 3 Fuchsias , 2 Astrantia , and a tray of 6 Cineraria,Now Im pondering where to put them !!

I’ve just seen one of my neighbours going for her morning walk, wearing hat, coat, gloves, thick skirt, and sensible shoes
Last I heard she was 93; I think she must be about 95 now, and she goes for a walk every morning, even if it’s winter and cold or raining, unless it’s icy & slippery underfoot –
Puts us all to shame!
So I’ll make an effort and go out for a walk myself soon - around the park and possibly along the canal into town
Hope everyone had a lovely Easter and didn’t overdose on chocolate! I had a very quiet Easter, didn’t go anywhere just relaxed and read my book
My brother rang this morning – whenever he rings he just says “hello” and then silence! However, once I start talking the conversation goes back and forth for a long time, this morning it was almost an hour! I do enjoy my calls with him, we always end up laughing (and insulting each other)
Only plans for today is to take advantage of the weather and get some washing out on the line
