Good morning everybody.
Following @Chilliboot’s lead I am in a pub enjoying the aircon and a beer. On the upside they had Tooheys New, on the downside it is $10.30 a schooner.
Am currently in Camooweal about 6km from the NT border staying at the inevitable roadhouse. Trying to write this on a tablet, bloody awful.
Near the roadhouse are these road trains carrying cattle, they park well away, the smell is terrible.
Fuel is $2.13 a litre and it is 33°, so warm.
Tomorrow I should reach the Stuart Highway (Adelaide to Darwin) and turn north towards Katherine and the end of my journey.
Sorry this post is rubbish, hate the tablet. Might write more later.
Take care

Hi
Good Morning All.
Good luck with overtaking those road trains Bruce.
A pint of beer, nothing fancy, is £A12 locally.
Last night was interesting, a 24yr old living on my street was charged with murder.
He was of no fixed abode and sofa surfing at a neighbours house.
I have all 3 carers here today, so will be able to do things.
Have a good day all.

Good morning!
Bright, sunny, clear, and warm
Yet another attempt at being a good boy, not slumping around, and doing something useful
So up early, tidied away last night’s washed pots & plates; did some tai chi, had a shower.
Last night I finished about a glass of red wine that was left in the bottle so now I don’t have any booze at all in my flat - let’s see how long I can keep that up!
I’ve volunteered to help at a breakfast club at a local community centre, and I’ll set off in a few minutes for my first session

Morning all. Nice and sunny again here in the south of Hampshire. Not sure of what’s happening today, may be forced to go out and mow the garden again, or go for a walk somewhere. “Mrs G” is off to see my Father-in-law today, so I’ve got the house to myself again.

Morning all – dull and overcast this morning
Something to make you smile – it was reported on local radio on Sunday that a nearby motorway was closed because there was a goat on the road!! I thought it was a joke but yesterday the local paper had a photo of stopped traffic and people trying to catch it!
Today’s plans are a quick trip to the supermarket and then later someone is calling to service the gas boiler
Take care – have a great day

The sky is grey but no rain. A blood test for Mrs mart first of all and when that’s done, it will be on to Asda for the supermarket shopping. Pick up a couple of bags of compost from there too. A bit of work in the garden this afternoon.
Have a good day everyone.
