Morning all or have I missed a morning thread, dry and sunny here after some over night rain, first day of official retirement, bit of filling to do on the wall i chased out, thats it I have to pace myself you know. Enjoy.

Lovely day, temps in high 20s again, still humid but tomorrow it rains but that’s OK, the ground needs it.
4 metre surf ,my surfing friend tells me thanks to ex tropical Cyclone something or other. 10 metre waves at Byron Bay according to the evening news

Good morning all.
A right old mixture this morning, showery with bits of sleet, then sunny, then grey again, but much colder than we’ve had lately.
Fed the dogs and wild birds, then been catching up on paperwork, paying bills, chasing my energy company, emailing Anglian Water, and finally landed here before getting something ready for lunch.
Afternoon
Just finished work and met husband for lunch , we are sat waiting for our grub now.
Off to dads after I’ve eaten then to meet my friend a costa coffee as we chew the fat.
Walk Loki this aft then a trip up to the Range to spend a Christmas voucher gift .

It’s lovely weather here at the moment, like spring, and I had a walk round the park and a few side streets this morning
I’ve now finished just about all the food & goodies got in for Christmas so I’m back on the straight and narrow now - narrow being the operative word as I’ve put on a bit of weight over the past few months, and Christmas hasn’t helped of course
So I’d like to lose about 8kg = just under 1,5 stones by my birthday at the end of April
Afternoon all, cold here too but nice and bright at the moment.
I’ve just finished lunch and washed up, so now I’m going to peruse the seed catalogues and order my veg seeds for the coming season but no other plans for the day.

The trees which were hanging over the bottom of our garden were cut back this morning, so much more light now and hopefully not so many fallen leaves later this year.

I was up late this morning, but after seeing to the dog, having a shower and breakfast, went off to Tesco’s.
Walked her again when home, lunched, brought black bin back in from the alley, and contemplating reading my library book for an hour, till I feed dog.
I have an Amazon parcel to collect from the nearby Jug n Bottle but can’t take dog in, so might wait till I go off to town one day this week and park nearby. It’s nothing urgent.
