Morning all!
It was a pleasantly surprisingly peaceful New Year’s day. I’m beginning to think my neighbor might be on a traveling holiday.
New Year’s Eve, there was about 45 minutes of fireworks. 2 booms sounded like literal bombs. Mostly quiet after that.
It was so quiet I was able to slip in a nap. Yawn. So nice.
If this is a sign of the coming year, I’ll happily take it.
Today’s plan is to celebrate getting through the holidays.

Having a shower soon, then going to the supermarket by a longer route, to keep the engine turned over and hot and charge the battery

Morning.
Back from dropping the car to the garage. It really did limp there and I’m not happy about the noise it made. Dreading the phone call. Don’t think it will be a cheap fix.
Cafe meet in half hour, and it’s raining. Grrrrr.
