Still have covid here have another six days isolation …then hopefully freedom

Good morning all. More and more rain here, plus grey, dull, and breezy. 
I have a builder coming at lunchtime to give me a price on a repair job, then hope to get a little bit of shopping at Asda. I find the prospect so exhilarating! 
I hope all the poorly people on here begin to feel a little stronger and more painfree soon, it’s no fun being in constant pain every day.

This rain is getting to be a nuisance. I have to tell Holly to wait in the porch while I get a towel to lay on the rug just inside the living room. Encourage her to step on it, take off harness and coat, and wrap her in another towel, to wipe legs/feet and head. My, does she struggle. And that’s without having to hang up my own wet coat somewhere.
I managed the shopping trip, but had to park much further down the road and struggle home with all the bags. With Holly waiting just inside the front room I wasn’t going to do several journeys. Best do it in one, then get on the sofa for our greetings/cuddles/kisses.
I have about 30-45 minutes before doing her dinner, so will settle on the sofa with my library book. Bliss.

Sorry I am late, the bus service is bloody atrocious here, anyway, now that I have lived
through an actual ‘plaque’ (so far) I totally understand why Italian Renaissance paintings are full of naked fat people laying on couches, posted while lying on my couch in my Y fronts
