Good Morning Tuesday, 25th March 2025

Good morning to you all on yet another warm but overcast day.

Didn’t sleep well last night so didn’t get up at my usual time, was late going for my walk so got tangled up with all the kids being dropped off at school at 8am. Sort of rush hour! Walked as far as my favourite roundabout before returning.

Did a bit of planting in the garden I have heaps of Aloe Vera in pots taken from cuttings, they grow to completely fill the posts so decided to put some out into the ground hopefully to spread like a weed.

Wish it would actually rain, the ground is as dry as.

Enjoy your Tuesday.

Take care…

Good morning!
Dull & cold, but dry

A meeting about Men’s Sheds this morning, with a local community centre and the north west organiser for UKMSA

Then a bit of pottering this afternoon
The friend I met yesterday has given me some unwanted glue, paint, and a few other things for model making, so I’ll sort through that

You’ll have to post a photo. Favourite traffic lights must be Plan B.

Yes, Search 'Net for www.menssheds.org.uk

I’ve visited a couple of Sheds and everyone has been friendly & helpful

Most of them are relaxed enough that they do allow women! despite the name
Also there are similar community workshops that are not part of the official UKMSA

Just Search t’Net or ask around locally

Good morning all

Woke up to a Rainey day I didn’t hear it but everywhere is sodden , including my shoes I left outside and a Rug.

Looking at where our next meal out will be and Ive found a Jazz club, different artist ,playing while a Table service , the Menu looks nice .North African .

I may be spending time in the Greenhouse planting up if my plants arrive today .

Nothing else planned.

Morning all – dull and overcast start to the day but sunshine promised for later

The beast went out for a few hours yesterday afternoon as the sun was shining but refused to go out this morning – will try again

Yesterday the gardener arrived for his first visit of the year and the garden looks so much better

This morning I am having a couple of windows replaced – the fitter arrived at 8.15 and I am not a morning person. Told him he was very brave as I hadn’t had nearly enough coffee!! The installation took an hour and I am very pleased with the result. Used a local company which had been recommended by several people

Not much planned for the day – need to recover from the early start!

Take care – have a great day

We have one where I stay. They refurbish all sorts of equipment. I got my present lawnmower from them at a give away price. The ladies have there separate times.

Hi

Late again.

Took a bit of time to get my readings straight this morning.

Had a bath, put some more washing on and once again gave up on waiting on the phone for the GP Surgery to answer.

Kinga coming soon, will put the washing out and will start work on sorting the thinks for the new tank.

Have a good day all.

Good afternoon - A grey but dry day here and not too cold. I’ll be taking a walk along the road shortly. This is to accompany Mrs mart who wants to take a ‘get well soon’ card to one of her friends in the craft group. The friend just had a hip replacement.

Talking of the craft group, One of them had a birthday last week and all the ladies wanted to go for a lunch at a local Toby Carvery. Since the bus wasn’t viable for Mrs mart. I was invited along as her driver. I didn’t really want to go. Me and a group of crafting ladies!? It turned out OK though and a jolly time was had by us all. First roast dinner I’ve had since Christmas.

Good morning everyone, first Spring day today, warm and sunny, but will it last??
I was wondering where @Surfermom is? I hope everything’s ok.
I should get my car washed, it’s filthy after all that brownish /reddish sand the rain deposited , the other day. South/western winds are still bringing all that desert air and our windows are filthy, too! :face_with_diagonal_mouth:
More rain on the way at the end of the week, so all the cleaning will have to wait.

Looking forward to clocks going forward at the weekend. :clock2:

Afternoon awl ! Early start with some rain but we still walked - the wee dog doesn’t that, Then we went to Aldi for shopping. By then the rain had stopped. I, and the dog, waited out sided on some bags, The we went to the hospital - my sister is still there and doctors don’t seem to have clear idea what the issues are, Or maybe my sister doesn’t…
And now for a rather late lunch.

Me too. She disappeared so suddenly. I looked up her stats she hasn’t logged on since 17th

Wherefore art thou @Surfermom ?

Have they had any recent storms out Florida way? I know all the people there pull together when there is an extreme weather event and Surfermom will be on the front line.
I hope its nothing serious…
