For reasons I’m still working on, I felt unsettled on Monday. Still trying to work through what the reasons may be.
The rain cleared, and it was a beautiful sunny day on Monday. That rain on Sunday really was a miracle.
I’ll have to see how it goes today.

Raining again and a cold day forecast.
I have a lot of ironing to do, no helpers again .
I will be trying a couple of new vegetarian recipes later, they seem very uncomplicated and quick.

Yes, rain here again this morning. Last night I was able to put Holly in the garden as by then she only needed a wee. Guess we will both get wet this morning, plus I have to take the bin out into the alley shortly, then at 11 will be walking to the cafe for our weekly meet.
No other plans for the day.

Good morning all, it was pissing down earlier, still raining now but not a lot.
Will be going into Gorleston some time this morning, need to buy more food etc.

Managed to get my walk done before the rains came, but it’s ‘pissing’ it down now…
Although it was unusually dark it was quite warm and I felt overdressed once I started jogging.
Plenty of roadworks going on around the village just lately, new plastic gas pipes replacing the old metal ones and there are several road closures. It gave me a good chance to examine the deep holes that were still exposed.
The road from here to the next village is also closed due to flooding, it normally gets flooded every year at this time, it’s a bit of a ‘run off’ for the river Don affecting mainly arable land.
Morning folks or is it afternoon now. Was awake during the night with the rain pounding down on my new window sill, I thought I had gotten rid of that sound of dripping but I guess not. Still it was not a waste of money the windows needed changing so that I could get out incase of a fire. 14 years ago I had a window installed that had little pains and was always wondering what I would do if we ever had a fire. Now I can sleep easy , but only when its not raining apparently. grrrrrrrrr I did think that today was gonna be another damp day and a bad breathing one at that. But I have just had a small walk around the front and back of the house and the air is really dry and breathing is good. So I guess I will sleep easy this afternoon and hopefully tonight as well. Enjoy the rest of your day everyone I suppose some will be in their gardens something I have not got these days because I had it all block paved in the very short summer we had this year…I really need to find a worth while hobby and idea please send me I am open to anything apart from sailing knitting and candle stick making the smell of the wax you know kills my lungs.
