Good Morning Tuesday, 24th February 2026

Good morning all. Another warm humid night, temperatures never got below 21° again, it must come to an end soon.

Walk as usual this morning then I made a trip to the Council Community Centre to take some photos for the Seniors newspaper (whether they use them or not is another matter).

Later will get out the cheap Chinese Roundup and spray along the fence line.

According to the happy folks at Australia Post my Passport Package has reached Sydney on its way to the UK.

Have a tantalising Tuesday.

Take care…

Hi

Good morning Bruce and all who follow.

No such luck with the Weather here.

My garden is heavy clay, borders are still under water.

Just the odd sign of Spring Growth.

Good Luck with your Passport Application, they can take months.

The UK Royal Mail is not what it used to be and is currently something of a mess, it all depends where you live as to what service you get.

I will be having a boring day on the phone, trying to arrange transport to the Hospital for next Monday.

Have a good day all.

Good morning all…

A fresh sunny day (for once) down here on the south coast of Hampshire. Not a great deal happening today, coffee then run the wife to the gym…that’s about all that’s planned for today. I may have a chance to do a flower photoshoot tomorrow, as it’s supposed to be a nice day again tomorrow - although I’m still undecided. Yesterday, spent a small fortune on extra trips for our upcoming cruise in August to look at whales and puffins, a small surprise for the wife. It will also be our wedding anniversary while we’re away, and that means thinking up what to get her.

Have a great day all…

I am told about six weeks but I am not planning on going until July so that should be OK.

Good Day Folks, managed to safely deliver the daughters car yesterday, she says it runs better, I couldn’t tell the difference… :017:
We all called in at my favourite fish and chip restaurant on the way home, so no dinner to cook or pots to wash when Mrs Fox and me got home.
We could just settle in for our nightly visit to Coronation Street…
Mrs Fox fell asleep in the chair…
Nice morning for a walk with just a few scattered clouds and a heady 11 degrees C…
:sunglasses:
Mrs Fox has gone orf with her friend to town, so the world is my Oyster, pity I can’t find anything to open the shell with…I’ll go and sit in the sleeping chair and think about something.

I stared planting my vegetable garden yesterday and doing more today.
Severe wind warning in effect and there is a burn ban that is also in effect because we are already in a severe drought and small fires are popping up all over. so the volunteer fire departments are pretty busy.
Killeen set two fire truck up to the Texas pan handle, along with other cities to get their fires under control.
They say we are suppose to get rain Wednesday but the odds are not good. Was suppose to get rain last Friday but that didn’t happen.
That’s about from around here.

@Robin1
…Hope your drought don’t last or it will make it hard raising Vegetables , I grow flowers now , but I have experimented planting cloves of Garlic , They have healthy green shoots.
I started the cloves off in water then when they had a good root system I put them in the pots of soil …
