Good morning all on this much cooler spring day, after 29° yesterday it only struggled into the low 20s today.
It was supposed to rain yesterday but that was a bit of a fizzer however it might rain this evening. Desperately needed.
I started on a modification to the back of my camper, it was going to be a shelf and a cupboard but I soon realised that a much smaller mod would do. I am fed up with the toaster and kettle loose in the back of the thing so am making a space for them.
All the wood is cut and with any luck I should be able to start on the varnish tomorrow. Keeps me busy anyway.
Another bright and sunny day here on the south coast.
Can’t really say too much about today, it’s ‘house chores’ day, which means absolutely nothing of interest going on here, apart from my daily walk, coffee and toast afterwards. Maybe ordering stuff online and a trip to the recycle centre. That’s about it for today.
I did my shopping yesterday morning, but I don’t know what happened to the afternoon –
a bit of a sniffle … cups of tea …a short nap … and there it was - gone!
So today I have to do some tidying & washing up, then I’ll carry on with packing calendars for USA & Canada
But I still don’t feel too lively, so dinner & tea will be a can of soup and stew from the freezer
Hmm… seems as if we have a mini heatwave again
I had to drop into town for a meeting which was cancelled. I’ve been a bit of a stranger to my superb haunted local of late
