Good morning campers, it was cool (ish) and overcast on my walk this morning probably only about 15°, I have to admit my jacket was overkill but it was definitely grey.
On the way home called into the supermarket for odds and ends, couldn’t resist a packet of Lolly Gobble Bliss Bombs My PO Box had a package of a Galaxy Smart Tag 2 which I bought to attach to my luggage for when I travel in foreign parts.
The documents from my British passport application are due to arrive today so I have to hang around to sign for them.
I misunderstood the email from DHL they were just telling me the documents were on the way, they haven’t left the UK yet, even though I already have the passport.
A sunny yet overcast day down here by the seaside. May clear up later.
Not sure what’s going down with us, dropping the wife off to the gym later and then make a slow start packing for our cruise which a week this Friday. Long range weather forecast says it’s going to rain, but that’s not always reliable - not that we care too much about weather when we’re away.
Started off sunny here but now clouded over ,my trip to the Lung scanner yesterday went off smoothly , it was parked up in a supermarkets car park , I arrived early after a bus ride and a mile walk to get there . I went in the Costa Cafe to kill time , was shocked at the price of the Coffees , all with different names , I went with Earl Grey Tea , which was just under £3 and the cheapest option .
I have a parcel to collect later today from town , I might leave it till tomorrow and go in early…
Waiting for my online shop which is due to be delivered soon .then the day is mine .
@SheilaP Im surprised NHS are still giving out the jab for Covid , we hear very little about Covid in the Community now .
@Graham the excitement must be rising for you and wife now the cruise is next week ,
