Good morning all you happy forum persons, did you remember t say “rabbits” when you woke up this morning?
It is one of those warm, sunny days where, in the sun, it is far too hot for anything other than a T shirt but as soon as you step into the shade the breeze is a bit chilly.
Went to my specialist this morning and am on a regime of active monitoring which seems to mean a PSA test every three months. Absolutely suits me down to the ground, never did fancy the radiation treatment. It is not as if the cancer affects me in any way in my day to day life so I was a very happy chappy on the way home.
Now I have to make plans for this arvo However as my back has just got better the more strenuous jobs will have to wait a few day (strenuous is a very relative term)
Anyway that is me sorted for today, my youngest son is visiting tomorrow so I suspect lunch at the club is in the offing.
Good morning - It’s a grey morning but no rain. Good enough for the allotment …once I’m there. The dilemma is how to get there.
It’s too far to walk there and back and then have much time for working. Riding the bike is a risky option with my drainage tube being where it is. Driving would be OK but there are restrictions on disabled person’s vehicles usage because of concessions on VAT and VED given by the government. The WAV (Wheelchair Accessible Vehicle) is in Mrs mart’s name, so not sure about that one.
Sit here and think about it until it’s too late to do anything.
Beast was good and used her tray last night – still demanding cuddles and not keen on going outside.
Had a phone call from my brother yesterday – he has been invited for Christmas lunch with his grand-daughter’s in-laws but is torn because he usually has Mum home on Christmas Day. Due to her health and memory deterioration and the difficulty in getting her home we finally agreed it would be best if he just visited her on Christmas morning. Sadly she probably won’t even be aware of what day it is.
Have a busy few days lined up, so I plan to do very little today. Wednesday morning roof repair, Wednesday afternoon boiler repair, Thursday morning alarm service, hopefully I will still be able to make the coffee and cake get together late Thursday morning and Friday lunch with sisters-in-law!
Just a quick one this morning as we are meeting our friends at 11:00am and going out for lunch as it’s their wedding anniversary today…60 something years…
Still chucking it down with rain so I might need the boat instead of the car…
