Good Morning Tuesday 1st August 2023

Morning all!

It was self care Monday. Got a bunch of sleep. Borrowed some tv shows and audiobooks from my online library. Tried to relax.

The wind is still blowing which is nice.

No plans yet today.

Have a good day everyone.

Good morning all
Well here we are in August ,but it feels more like autumn , October perhaps .
Ive been wearing a fleece .
Bin men were here at 7.30 , Ive started putting mine out the night before now , I was caught out once , Im going to start washing my tins out before putting them in the bin , that way I will only have to put it out once a month …mostly Dogmeat tins that attract the flies …
Have a good day everyone …

Good morning!
Cold, dull, and raining

Tai Chi this morning, then helping at the community grocery shop in the afternoon

Morning all.

Forecast today, breezy. I think the thunderstorms are predicted for tomorrow and Friday. Got some clothes washing out on the line and airer, so hope it will stay dry out.

I put some ear plugs in last night. Was in bed before 9.30 and apart from getting up for the loo, wanted no disturbance. Especially neighbours opening their door constantly. I was awake by 6, before the boys on one side. But after doing a few jobs and having breakfast was back in bed at 8, for another hour.

Off to the cafe shortly for our weekly chat.

A Very Good Morning from Foxy’s world… :026:
After yesterday’s hard day catching up with some sudoku’s and doing my end of month financials, I just walked the four mile route down the lane to the main road in the next village.
I went in my raincoat because the skies were heavy and threatening, but the rain didn’t happen…
I’ve had a dripping kitchen tap for a couple of weeks and it’s beginning to get on my nerves, so I’m going to take it to pieces now and see what can be done. It’s the cold tap and I’ll have to shut off all the water to the house…Pain in the butt!
It’s also one of those ceramic quarter turn things that if I can’t mend it will cost me about £15 or £20 …We’ve come a long way since a twenty pence washer would have done the trick…
