Good Morning from Foxy’s World…
Strange morning. A sultry 10 degrees C at 7:00am as I set off for my usual 3 miles. Still dark, and not even a ripple on the surface of the water of the canal. Kind of uncanny for this time of the year. Even the birds were confused as I past bushes full of chattering sparrows and overhead were flocks of Geese chattering away to each other as they tried to make up their minds which way to go.
Felt a bit wobbly when I arrived home, must have been the surge of speed over that last half mile when I gave it all I had left. Shouldn’t really dig that deep…
Had to turn out last night at 5:00pm to help a damsel in distress. Daughter had a flat tyre at the Lakeside Shopping park at the other end of the M18. Anyone will tell you not to use the M18 at five in the evening…
Anyway, after queueing for half an hour I managed to arrive at the scene but I couldn’t get all of the wheel nuts off…So I pumped up the flat tyre and told her to make a run for it…It was still inflated this morning, so I don’t know what went off there then…
Apparently, garage bloke found a nail embedded in it…
Off for a late shower now and a run out to Tesco for a tin of soup for lunch…
