Morning Susie and all who follow
Looking bright and sunny here…hope it continues.
Out for lunch later with friends a last Easter jaunt…
Some good news the builder has asked if he can store some stuff in the garage in preparation for the build start on the 8th May…looking promising that it might actually happen
Have a good day everyone
Morning all.
I wish Holly would stay under a covering when it’s cold, but she always moves out.
It’s been another warm, sunny Autumn day in the mid 20s. BOM reckons some showers this evening, the ground is still sodden even after a sunny Easter.
Mowed the lawn while I still had the chance, printed out a piece on my 3D printer, then went for a good walk and a bit of shopping followed by a beer. Not a bad day.
Enjoy your day
Good morning everyone
fine and chilly here.
I have managed to mow the back lawn. My back restricts how much I can do these days, I might manage to get the front one done later after I have walked Chloe who walks very slowly these days.
I think my strawberries are done for, they are in troughs and I weeded and added some fresh compost a couple of weeks ago. The troughs are hidden on a path behind the raised beds and I notice this morning ‘something’ (cats?) has been and scratched all the compost out of the troughs and the plants look very sad
.
It is 10.15pm and absolutely belting down a storm has just gone through. So much for “showers” but the worst is now out to sea. No chance of the ground drying out now

A belated look in to see what is happening here
Not feeling on top form today and find my bed is more comfortable than a chair at the moment.
Overcast and cooler today so I am not missing much.
My sympathy goes out to Bathsheba today.
It may seem later to some, but I popped out of bed, dressed and went outside to shovel through 9 inches of snow! Tree branches are breaking from the wet snow weight, so we all moved our vehicles across the street to a bank parking lot out of harm’s way.
Electricity is out around the town and villages, so far mine is holding up, only flickering.
I have come inside, dried myself off, hung coat and gloves to dry, and have done my Wordle and Quordle while enjoying my first cup of coffee.
Needless to say, it is not the way to start the day…
Wishing the rest of you a happier day. Mags and Meg, take it easy.
