Nice day of trying out my new pens and checking out my new composition books. I tried a new thing from my grocery order. Still binge watching Elementary and looking for my next series to get hooked on.
Today I’m planning to talk to someone on the phone. I’m hoping the weather cools more. The increased wind is a good sign at the moment.
Good morning everyone, dull and damp here but I am nor complaining, I cant stand the heat my family are in Crete at the moment and finding the heat exhausting.
I have a great crop of runner beans this year which I think is down to the weather.
Pippin is due at the vets this morning to have her stitches /wounds checked, a few more days and she will be able to go for an off lead run again.
Oh dear I’ve a problem it’s Bees .
They are zooming in and out of a airbrick , loads of small bees !
My garden is tiny so no matter were I’m sitting I am on their flight path and there are a lot of them .
When I’m home my windows and doors are open the bees don’t seem to want come in …that’s not a problem , it just unnerving sitting in the garden with so many bees, it’s a swarm there are so many.
I shall pop into town this morning let those get on with it !
Good morning all
very grey here , @Ripple I had a Bees nest a couple of year ago , mine were Tree bees that chose to nest in my roof and it was just above the Kitchen ceiling , so whenever I went to make a cuppa I could here them, they were not dangerous and true to the info i read they left after the summer ended never to return .
But I couldnt use my back door , for they entered above it …and so was buzzing around it .
Have a good day everyone
Sorry to hear about your bee infestation. Hope they move on soon.
Cafe meet this morning. Then dog walk and lunch, and afterwards I’d like to get to the allotment for an hour (to be home for Holly’s dinner - unless I go after).
Last night, my NfH nipped out while I was on late dog walk and left their bin outside my house again, between the boulders. So I grabbed and hauled it away, more to theirs. Waiting for them to say something. Why they can’t put it by their wall like everyone else just beats me.
Good Morning from Foxy’s cool world…
It appears that the record breaking temperatures haven’t reached South Yorkshire yet, so I wore my thin fleece for this mornings walk. Mostly cloudy and the sun poked it’s head out a couple of times and it was quite pleasant so I extended my usual four miles to six.
Just a slight hickup while on the last two miles when a giddy dog took a shine to me and almost had me on the floor…I wasn’t very happy and made my feelings known as I continued jogging onto the lane. With adding the extra bit on to my walk I was a bit late getting to the lane when all the dog walkers are about. Most of the time they are under control on a lead, or nosing about on the verge minding their own business, but occasionally two or three are running wild and my heart sinks when I have to pass them. I’ll need to go earlier tomorrow…
Morning all!
We had a good long walk this morning - over an hour. The wee dog absolutely loves it. Forecast to rain later so we may not get the afternoon stroll.
