Good morning all you forumers out there, another wet night, 5mm of rain, still cool though.
Spent the morning changing my wifi set up, at one stage I thought I had completely stuffed it up but recovered it eventually. I should just leave things alone.
Apart from that have been getting ready for the seniors’ lunch on Friday, not a lot of preparation just a bit of ringing round checking the venue was ready.
Also setting my washing machine up so that all the collected laundry gets done early in the morning so I can get it on the line before I set off for my body scan. I thought Thursday was going to be a good clothes drying day but BOM has changed its mind and Wednesday will be the day.
Not much to say about today just a typical Tuesday.
We are still on our cruise spending the day at sea as we make our way to Cobh, Ireland. Just managed to dodge the rain as we left Greenock, the only rain we’ve had the entire cruise. Spent the day on an excursion to Edinburgh to see the castle and spent a little time getting some street photography in with the Fringe festival going on. Can’t wait to start processing them to see how they came out.
We had some rain in the early hours - a steady sprinkle that lasted an hour or so, but not enough to bring back the once lush green landscape. More to come i hope.
Sadly the smell of wildfires last night, and this morning - some new fires last night not too far from us.
People are still not paying attention to the warnings we’ve had recently - there were reports of fireworks being let off yesterday, on our local forum - the fire service overstretched as you can imagine.
I hope they catch those responsible.
More home improvements to be arranged this week - boring but necessary!
