I am late today, a bad night, up late, and I’m not bothering with the cafe meet up. Got a lot to do, so made my excuses.

Good morning from ‘out in the rural sticks’ to you all. 
It is still morning, isn’t it? A strange night with much interrupted sleep, so had a long lie-in.
Light rain and drizzle with it becoming brighter during the early afternoon, according to the forecast.
No rain at present but at 7ºC it’s very cold. Maximum temperature 12ºC.
Nothing much planned, I must get out and get some fresh air though, for a change.

Morning all.
Yet another miserable grey day outside. 
I keep getting toothache even though I had the offending tooth out last week. Can’t get another appointment to see her until next week.
I am picking a poorly friend up and taking her to Asda this afternoon, as her car has been in the local garage for a fortnight and she needs shopping.
Meg, that sounds really odd about Chloe’s pad still. It’s just as well she’s coping, poor old gal. I’m sure she’s getting lots of hugs though.

We bought a 3-wheeled scooter for our youngest greatniece for Christmas on-line from Halfords. It arrived this morning in its original but very battered box that had been taped up with loads of parcel tape. Once I’d managed to get through the tape with my craft knife, I took out the scooter to find it was broken - one wheel had come off and left sharp edges (cut my thumb on one 
). We’ll be taking it back tomorrow to the local Halfords where they will be getting a rather good talking to 
for sending out broken stock as good stock. I suspect it had been broken and returned by someone else.
Oh poor little Cleo, I hope she gets on alright.
Good morning, have heavy layer of snow on my car that is trying to melt. I hope it does soon, as I am going shopping and to lunch with a friend 20 miles away! I won’t like ice on the highway.
