It is a day of mixed fortunes weather wise. When I went out this morning for my walk overhead appeared to be blue sky though the horizon looked a bit cloudy. As I walked I could see rain falling just a few km away down the escarpment while the sun was shining for me.
Later in the morning I had to go to Big W to pick up some shoes I had ordered when I set off for the few hundred metre walk it was quite bright but when I returned it was actually drizzling. Not happy Jan.
A friend called in on his way home from the gym (he is younger than me) so I had some pleasant company for an hour or so.
I have to go to Service NSW to get my driving licence altered, at the moment it says I need to wear specs when driving so I have to get it altered because since my eye ops I don’t need glasses. Might go this arvo or leave it until tomorrow I want them to take a new photo anyway the one on my licence is about 10 years old, I look far too sprightly.
Morning all – another bright start to the day but it is now clouding over (again!). Temperatures today not expected to get above 14c!
Gardener arrived yesterday so garden is now looking very neat. Had to undergo some cross questioning about not attending last week’s get together (he was under orders from his wife!).
Plans today are some grocery shopping this morning and hopefully start reading a new book this afternoon.
Early appointment at the barbers so just got back from a late walk.
It comes over looking like rain but it never does so having to water in my lawn feed most days.
Cleaned a few bricks yesterday after they were loosened while the fence was being erected.
Grab some lunch now and go and collect my new glasses. All go innit…
