A chill in the air and quite grey.
My discharge helper has just left after his first visit of the day, 3 more visits from them today.
They have no sense of humour some of them,

It’s a beautiful Autumn morning, an autumnal nip in the air and condensation on the windows.
Nothing planned for the day, just the usual chores,
I’m expecting a visit from a doctor today to see Mr M who had a fall on the weekend and hurt his leg which has now come up like a balloon.

up early and taken a car (large estate) full of garden rubbish ,oak leaves and acorns, to the local tip. Then to a garden centre as Sue wanted weed killer for the front drive. Now a nice cup of coffee and check to see if a parcel is going to be delivered today

Sorry to hear of your husband’s injury @Mags. Hope it’s no more than a sprain.
Not much planned today other than usual chores. Mrs D is off to RHS Worsley with a couple of friends for lunch. I’ll mow the lawn for the last time this year, prompted by @realspeed 's comment. Also got to do a trip to the tip since the wheelie bin is too full to put the couple of bags too many into it. Irritating since tomorrow is bin collection day. But I’ll do it on my way to a face to face tutorial later.

The weather is beautiful here. If only it could stay this way.
I’ve been watching a cooking competition show that I’ve already watched before fairly recently. Fortunately and unfortunately, I don’t remember who won in each round so watching it again isn’t boring. I’m enjoying it the second time around.
Nothing planned purposefully today.

Morning awl ! Just 8C this morning. We walked the dogs - yes, dogs. Ozzie is back with his mum. She is out of hospital but is not in good shape. She is unable to walk so she is confined to a wheelchair. We will do what we can and my wife do some meals for her and we went to the convenience store.

While planting a few primroses and cyclamen I had a whip off my jumper I got so hot.
You have to make the most of good weather this time of year .
Now waiting for grocery delivery.
