Good morning to you all on this tepid Tuesday, temperatures only in the mid 20s today.
As promised I was at the Return and Earn early this morning getting my 10c per bottle and can, was pleased to receive $43 for my collection (430 bottles?). I was fascinated by the machine that sorted the glass bottles, plastic bottles and cans after the bar code had been read.
On the way home called into Bunnings for a small camp table, it is small but ideal to put next to your chair to hold your book and cup of tea. Until now I have been using a small folding stool as a table but the top is just a bit too small, the new one is ideal (I hope) - only 300mm high and 400mm square.
While I was there bought a new movement sensor for my car port/garage area the current one only has a high/low switch which makes it either too sensitive so the empty washing lines moving in the wind in the car port set it off or so insensitive that you have to be about 300mm away to get the light on.
Basically spent the money from the bottle return at Bunnings!
It rained 1mm overnight so I am waiting for the grass to dry so I can mow my front garden and the council verge, shouldn’t be too long.
My daughter is staying on the weekend so it looks like a meal at the club on Saturday night, she did tell me why she is visiting but I have forgotten the reason. Just remembered, she is in a four wheel driving competition (I think it is a competition). Have to get one of the spare rooms ready for her.
