Good morning Tuesday 03/05/2022

Good morning all, dull and cloudy here.
Nothing planned for the day, might just go to the Corton Boot sale this morning.
Cows in our Field.
Have a nice day all.

Good morning everybody.

I’ll be staying in most of the day - got a a joiner coming to fix me some shelves.

How nice to have the countryside at the bottom of your garden Susie.

Have a good day all…

Good morning everyone, a little rain here at last but barely enough to wet the ground so it looks like the hosepipe will be out again tomorrow…

No plans for the day yet but I will probably find something that wants fixing sooner or later…

Wishing you all a pleasant day

Ah sorry Carol, those cows are from our last house in Bacton, not here, they were very friendly though, I used to stroke them.

Morning all,

Can’t make up my mind what to do today. Will need to check the weather forecast. Had thought of Southwold but not sure now.

Another warmish sunny day but winter is coming, later in the week it will struggle to reach 20° Brrr…

Nice walk today, bought a dozen wholemeal rolls from the Vietnamese shop on the way home.

Enjoy your day.

Good morning all :grinning: a dull day here.

No plans for the day, will just take what comes :slightly_smiling_face:

Enjoy your day folks……

The sun is out now Janet.

Dammit, Janet.

Stayed on site, using up what food I brought with me. Part cooked petit pains for lunch, and I have a ready meal for tonight, been on long dog walks, and sat reading.

That wind is still a bit chilly, but Holly wants to stay outside on her long lead, and I need to keep an eye on her.

Morning all.

Weather here is still mild.

Hoping to talk to someone later today on the phone. Other than that, no plans for the day.

Have a safe day.

I’ve been to my yoga class this morning, then M&S, Pets @ Home, and Dunelm on the way home.

This afternoon the chap opposite came over to put a new fence panel up for me. Then something rather scary happened. . .
I was out the front painting my front gate when I saw a pick up truck loaded the hilt with old iron. It stopped, and reversed back to the house opposite me and a man got out and knocked at the house. An old chap of nearly 90 lives there, so I kept an eye out because it looked a bit suspicious. After the old chap answered the door, the other bloke left, but went about 3 doors further on and stopped again.
This time it was the house of the man who was mending my fence, so I went and told him someone was at his door. We both thought it looked like gipsies, and looked dodgy, as the scrap man had gone round the side of his house and the gate was open. My workman shouted across the road for him to get out.
The scrap man started shouting abuse back at him, really nasty. It ended with my bloke walking away and coming back to do the job, but I heard the gipsy still shouting and ‘F- ing’ and it finished with his shouting to my workman that he was now going to die a horrible death!!

I went indoors to get a pen and note his number plate, but he’d gone.
It has really worried me. I am frightened the bloke might come back tonight . . .

Wow, scary! I hope they stay away.

Gosh Mups, that must have been scary for you :worried:

Sorry Butterscotch I meant this for Mups :slightly_smiling_face:
