Got an email drafted and sent that I’ve been dreading for a while, so glad it got done. Still lots more to do there, but did my part yesterday.
It was raining nicely earlier. Just a nice light rain, bringing up the temperature and forcing my neighbors inside.
Did my morning pages for the 7th day. Also spent a lot of time on Insight Timer, a meditation app, looking up courses that look fun while I have the free trial.
Probably will take a break today since it’s raining, but I’d like to get more food soon.
morning awl. Light rain at the moment. Heavy rain later.
Today we were supposed get the new fridge/freeter but the fitters didn’t have the proper tools…
Another day wasted…

I might have to wait for a cold day and maybe fill my new incinerator with black bin bags. Needs defrosting first, though.
Good Morning from Foxy’s World…

It was still very dark as I walked along the canal towpath, the water looked cold and was being ruffled by a cold wind and rain drops. I was surprised by the number of dog walkers I met, but the best part was, as I passed through the kissing gate and onto the short lane that joins the road, three people appeared round the corner with at least six or seven dogs. They were all excited and running free, even the dogs were bounding about off leads… …I’m just glad I didn’t meet them on the narrow towpath.
As I rounded the corner onto the road I saw that the bridge, and road to the next village was closed due to flooding…
