Good Morning Thursday 6th July 2023

Morning all!

Neighbor set off a “bomb-like” firework right behind my place yesterday morning.

Terrifying and dangerous.

Later I attended a masterclass and fell asleep. Slept for 8 hours. I’m hoping to catch up on more sleep after the 4th of July fiasco.

I’d like to get a couple things done today but we’ll have to see how it goes.

Have a good day everyone.

Good morning!
Cool & dull, but dry

Nothing very exciting planned, apart from tidying the bedroom & changing the sheets - well, we are over half way through the year

Good morning all, the sun is out, washing on the line outside.

Don’t know what i’m doing today.

Bought a garden bench, might give it a coat of paint today (Green).

Have a nice day all.

Good Morning from Foxy’s cycling page… :biking_man:
Got out early before the traffic and maintained a cracking pace…until I turned into a stiff breeze to come home and it took me legs……So overall, an average time.
I just hope Greggs have got some sandwiches left after I’ve finished conversing with you lovely people…
:yum:
:sandwich:
Think I’ll take the motor…

Afternoon.

Had my hair trimmed this morning. Home for a quick lunch and a hot drink. Walked Holly, then went off to Tescos for a big shop. Sitting in the garden now, had a cuppa, and soon Holly will want her dinner. Actually, let’s do it now.

Good afternoon awl. Walked the wee dog - she is so happy run around the fields and no lead except at the main road. A delight. Next we went visit my sister in hospital. She is not a happy bunny and complains rather a lot. She has been in hospital for two weeks now and we don’t when she will be released. Then I cut the grass which takes about an hour. My neighbour next door takes it in stages - cuts for a bit then sits for a bit etc. Then another stroll

@Besoeker your Sister must be fed up with the food and being confined to the ward . Allow her to have a moan …Hope she gets out soon .

Thank you Eliza - you are a kind person.

I know what you mean Besoeker. I used to mow the lawns, do the edging and weed and dig the borders…It’s done over a couple of days now…

Lives move on. I used to go home for lunch. We had an hour. Ate lunch then cut the grass (with my mechanical mower). My next door neighnour then used his electric mower. Not unusual but then after he did is fitness routine in his garage. Presses, stretches, weights, the whole nine yards. Long time ago…
