Back from walking the hounds and having a brew before visiting my Mum and then B&Q on the way back, but no plans for later so may catch a film with the feet up…

Good night from a chilly southern New Zealand. Cold southerly winds, straight off the Antarctic today so no beach or outdoor fun. Managed to potter in the garden, which led to arguments with dad (par with the course lol) and then it was board games and movies. Sedate holiday day compared to the last few and I have to say, not overly unwelcome.

Got some organising to do today, and pick up some bits and bobs from the shops but that’s all.
I made some banana bread the other day for the first time, so I’m making more. Its delicious!

Good morning all. It’s -18° and is supposed to get all the way -7° with snow falling. Hope everyone has as excellent day.

Was deicing my car at 7.15am this morning brrrrr. I hope it’s warmer when I leave work shortly.
I’m going to meet my husband after work to go for a carvery. My work told us we can have a meal up to the value of £35 along with a hamper for Christmas so I’m going to spend that today, will buy a bottle of wine to make sure I use all the £35 haha.
Afterwards I’m off to Dads to make sure he’s ok and have our daily chat.
I’m going up to Oak Furniture Land later this afternoon. We are buying a new coffee table and TV stand that they have in the sales.
Nothing else planned except for a walk with the dog.
We watched a series on netflix yesterday that we really enjoyed. It was called My Lover My Killer if you fancy something true to watch.

Feeling tired after Chloe requested to go out for a walk at 1:15am and 4am, needless to say she is fast asleep this morning. I am watching her for a possible UTI but she seems ok otherwise.
Waitrose have been and the shopping put away, I have also marked up the new calendar with birthdays for the coming year.
Off to sort out some lunch now …

Quick message, yet again, as dog wants her lunch time walk now I am back from town. Caught the bus in, at 10.20 from near home, did such a lot whilst there, and would have had a 25 minute wait for the one back, so decided to walk it. I had my sholley with me, with the stuff I needed to take and bring home. I even managed to collect my Amazon parcel and get home just at the time the bus would have left town.

It’s snowing heavily here so my plans for the afternoon are scuppered - not that it was anything interesting but I needed to go to the post office to send a parcel back to Amazon & our local post office is closed. We have to go to the nearest town now.
I also wanted to pop into the ‘Easy barbers’ for a haircut. You can just walk in - no appointment. They do men & women but more women than men in spite of the name.
I am considering going on the bus but they never arrive on time & the thought of waiting at the bus stop in the snow doesn’t appeal! 
Aw well, perhaps I’ll stay in nice & cosy & pay my credit card bill on the internet & go round all the sites I use that have my phone no. I need to alter it now I’ve got a new phone.
