Good morning everyone. The morning started off very well with just a few clouds lingering around the horizon, It was humid again overnight and a slight mist did linger in the low lying areas on my walk this morning.
Today I took a more suburban route which took me over the freeway, at 7.30am, it travels very slowly in my area because it is only two lanes wide as the workers head north to Sydney. The rest of the day it is fine but always a bottleneck from 6am until about 8am after which the traffic speeds up and thins out.
While I was out walking my washing machine was in action preparing clothes for the next week, when I returned home I hung them on the line but as it clouded over late morning I moved them into the car port just in case it rained. We have had so many rainy days the last week so dirty clothes are accumulating.
Bin day in the morning so that is my next job, it is all go down under.
Another bright and sunny day here, although there is still some dampness around. Just got back from my walk and swan feed and waiting to take the wife to the gym, then back to do some admin and book some studio time for later to brush up on my portraiture photography, as I’m doing another wedding later in the year.
At the moment, things are getting a little tense with some serious family stuff going down with that bone-headed nephew of mine, who been a bit of a “naughty boy”, (to put it lightly) and got himself into a spot of legal trouble. We shall find out more details later. Fortunately, I don’t have much to do with him and I expect I’ll have less by the end of day. (Long story).
Morning everyone…
It’s forecast to get up to 16 degrees C today, but when I turned out for my walk just gone seven, it was cold foggy and damp. I decided to try Moor lane down to the canal towpath, it has been flooded for the past week or two and I didn’t feel like wading through two feet of water.
The longer route takes me past some factories and a small housing estate, not as pleasant as a deserted country lane where vehicles are forbidden.
The lane was dry and that will be my preferred route in future providing we don’t have too much rain.
Didn’t get round to tidying up the garden yesterday. After sitting in the warm sun in the summer house reading my book I fell asleep and almost missed lunch, so no point putting out the empty green bin today…
It’a half eleven now and the sun has just made an appearance, so with just a couple of chapters to read I’ll finish my book…
Soup of the day…Mulligatawny…If I don’t fall asleep again…
What happened to that athletic adventure seeking bloke that used to live here…
