Good morning all you seekers of fine wine and dining (and everybody else ). Quite a nice day - mid 20°s today
The wind subsided sometime during the night, according to the news this morning, it reached nearly 120kph at times. Even my bins huddled together seeking shelter.
Unfortunately the wind is due to return tomorrow morning (not quite as bad as yesterday) so I might not bother putting the bins out tonight, they have suffered enough. On the bright side Spring arrives on Sunday.
I know people on here complain about the Royal Mail but you can’t complain about Australia Post. On Wednesday I ordered some memory chips, I picked them up this morning from the Post Office. Even better because they were an old design (DDR3) the 16 Gb only cost $40. I was pleased with that.
Pleased to hear that the high winds have dropped for the time being @Bruce - I am always concerned that tiles will come off the roof when it is very windy, this has happened in the past. Your poor bins have certainly had a rough ride, maybe it will be a good idea not to put them out this week to enable them to recover!
It’s a pleasant day here, warm with a slight breeze. The dog walk took longer than usual because we went a different way and of course there were new ‘sniffs’ for Annie dog to check out. The village is very quiet today, maybe folks are taking advantage of the last week of the school holiday and have gone to the coast.
I have nothing much planned for today, I’ll just go with the flow and see what happens.
Happy Thursday (I had to check the newspaper to see what day it was this morning - I was convinced it was Wednesday! Another joy of being retired.)
Good morning - Glad the bins survived the ordeal Bruce. Bins have feelings too …and if you don’t believe me, just remember Ted Rogers and Dusty Bin.
A warm and sunny morning here and the washing will soon be ready to hang out. More medical stuff tomorrow, so making the most of there being none today. A laze around in the garden is planned. Sun keep on shining.
Happy, Happy Thursday morning to all (gotta be the drugs )
Currently 24°C (75°F ,humidity 85%) looking for a high near 27°C (81°F).

Hi all! It has a pleasant afternoon. We strolled along the Roman Rig and chatted to quite a few people we met with their dogs (and mine).
The temperature was 24C but dropped to 21C when we came back home. Not bad for this time of the year.
