Good Morning Thursday, 26th March 2026

Good morning to all you happy forum folks. The day has started out warm and sunny but those fellas at BOM are less enthusiastic about this afternoon.

It was my seniors’ meeting this morning hence my late entry after dealing with correspondence as well as writing minutes.

No walk this morning because I am always afraid it might make me late but this arvo I hope to get the rest of my lawn mowed before the predicted rain/storm arrives.

Now I am debating whether to bother to put a bin out I really don’t normally generate enough rubbish for a weekly collection.

Have a good day.

Take care…

Morning all…

Temperatures have cooled right down here on the south coast, although it’s sunny out.

Just about to go for my walk, then take the wife to the gym and then take her to the local hospital for a small procedure which she has done every year. Probably go for a pub lunch after.

That’s about it for today. Have a great day all…

Good morning all! :sun_with_face:

Sunny weather today, an opportunity to get another wash on the line.
I had a camera body arrive in the post yesterday from a buddy, she lives right out in the sticks in beautiful North Wales

It’s in lovely condition, just going to test the electronics later, metering and all the shutter speeds.
The only downer is that part of the foam bumper/buffer has come away on the left which has caused the small metal buffer plate to fall off.

Not really an issue, it’s a straightforward and minor repair. Happily precut kits are available from eBay

It’s dead handy to have two bodies with films of different speeds within for different situations.

Enjoy your day people :+1::sun_with_face::sunflower:

Hello everyone,

Today, not only is the weather extremely hot, but my heart feels just as heated too. Fuel prices have gone up so much that I honestly don’t even feel like going to work, I just want to stay home and do nothing. When fuel prices rise, you just know that everything else, especially food, will become more expensive as well.

People in Laos have it even worse, they have to drive into Thailand just to fill up their tanks because fuel there costs almost twice as much. At this point, I don’t even know what to do anymore. I guess the best thing is to calm my mind, take a cool shower, and try to stay relaxed.

Wishing everyone happiness and a peaceful, cool heart today.

Good morning!
Clear blue sky; frost on the cars first thing, which is now starting to melt

In fact it’s a beautiful spring morning
I have a couple of errands in town, including the bank, and I might even walk in, along the canal

Morning all – sunny if cold start to the day

Usual meet up with “the girls” later this morning, followed by grocery shopping. As the new electric fire is being fitted tomorrow I will need to move a bookcase to enable them to get to the power point – just hope they can work around the remaining pile of bricks outside!

Take care – have a great day

Good Morning everyone from a sunny South Yorkshire… :sunny:
Just dropped half of my Hob Nob biscuit all down me shorts with all the excitement of posting in the good morning thread…Dunking Hob Nobs is turning out to be a precise art…
Anyway, just returned from my morning walk along the towpath to Northfield bridge.
A very nice sunny morning but frightfully cold 1.5º C when I set off, with frost in the sheltered spots. This is Northfield bridge in the distance, and the limit of this mornings wander…

The walk comes out at 4.5 miles and just a mile longer than my normal walk. It’s interesting to note that since I walked it for the first time a couple of weeks ago, I’ve enjoyed it so much, I don’t think I’ll go back to the shorter walk…Now you know how I became a long distance runner…
Got to go now because somewhere in South Yorkshire there is a lawn that needs a good raking to get out the moss…
