I also noticed that they had replaced a couple of the old timber power poles with shiny new galvanised steel ones (I can’t imagine that they are stainless).
On the way home called into the supermarket for milk and tomatoes and after my shower I flew my drone to sticky beak at some new houses near me that I didn’t know existed, they have been crammed in next to the expressway. Their garden isn’t even big enough for a rotary clothes line.

Its a Beautiful day and a Beautiful world , Ive been pottering around the garden , my neighbour who Im joined onto are out and theres an Alarm sounding out , Ive had a look to see if theres any Smoke or flames coming out the roof , and I don’t see any so Im guessing its some other none urgent alarm … Ive put my TV on at full volume to drown it out …
Morning all – dull and overcast first thing with forecast for the day to be cloudy with some sunshine, possible showers later this evening (of course, we can’t possibly have a day without some rain!)
Called into the local supermarket yesterday and picked up some fresh fruit and veggies, had a nice chat with one of the cashiers – she seems to recognise regulars and always has a smile. Have to admit that last night I got a bad case of the munchies so today I have to be very careful about what I eat!
Plan for today is to meet up with the “girls” for the usual coffee and gossip – I will give the cake a miss!
