Had a. enjoyable evening last night, at this Restaurant it was a meal by plates and we each had to have 2 or 3 plates each .
I had the Trout ,and Roasted Beetroot +Rhubarb and pavlova…The place was buzzing and it was a very relaxed atmosphere.
The Owner was in the room moving about talking to customers as they came in , seems to be a popular Restaurant .
We plan on doing more Restaurant visits,Italian or Caribbean maybe next …
I have a few errands to do today, all at local shops - buy stamps, get a phone top up, buy some fruit & veg
Later I have a couple of hobby type jobs to do - fit handles to a saddler’s awl and a file - as if I don’t have enough of either
I’m carving wooden ones instead of buying plastic
Good Morning everyone…
Was rushed into hospital early on Sunday morning with heart failure.
I’m home now and doing alright. They have shuffled my medication around and making me an appointment with the cardiologist. Sorry for not posting sooner but things have been a little hectic just lately. Catch yer all later…
Sorry to hear of your heart attack but glad they sorted you out and that you are now back home again. I know it will be difficult for you to take it easy but… take it easy! All the best.
It’s good to see you back, Bob. Sorry to hear you had another heart attack …. I remember you saying a fews days ago you weren’t feeling too good. Maybe shorter walks now is the way to go
Sorry @Ripple , we become so close to our pets , my dog is 14 , deaf and senile at times ,just like us humans the time comes for them to go over the rainbow .
I take comfort that one day I will meet up again with all my dogs and we shall go walks again .
sending hugs .
@Ripple, I am so terribly sorry to read about the loss of your dog. It is such a profound and painful loss that I am sorry you are having to endure. They are family members of the most very special sort that fill our lives in the most precious way. I am with @Rose in knowing that my dogs will be the greeting committee on the other side.
Bob, thank heavens you are home! I was very worried. It is outstanding that you and Mrs. OGF read the signs and you proceeded to the emergency room immediately. I am with Bruce in knowing people who live for decades with the condition; you just have to go through the hassle of following directions and being vigilant. I couldn’t put it any better than @swimfeeders has.
@Eliza, I love everything about the photos you posted. You look like you are having a truly fabulous time and you look lovely! It doesn’t get much better than delicious food, a nice venue, and celebrating a family event together.
@Bruce, I bet you can’t say “Adaminaby” fast three times. I could hardly write it. I’ll see what I can find on the flood.
@Zulu, I really like the idea of your carving handles. Very neat.
