Good morning to everyone on the forum, signs that we are nearing the end of winter with temperatures getting up into the low 20s. Such a nice change after the really cold weather we have been having.
Went shopping early this morning to get milk when I was browsing the meat section and discovered they had lamb hearts. I love hearts and brains though the latter are probably never to be seen again. Thank you British farmers ![]()
Sensitive souls might want to avert their eyes now…
Anyway I thought it would be nice to try cooking stuffed hearts in my air fryer so when I got home I tried to look up recipes. Turns out it is not recommended, air fryers make them too tough it appears. So now I have to get my oven working which I haven’t used for years - ho hum!
A bit disappointing but that’s how things go. On the bright side, it’s bin day in the morning so I thought I might have a go at removing parts of my Azalea which has sadly died (I might have been a bit careless with my cheap Chinese Roundup
) so they can be collected in the morning. Tried to remove all the Asparagus Fern weed while I was at it - nasty prickly plant. Anyway it is done and the bins are on the kerb.
Soon be the weekend, have a good one.
Take care…
