Good morning one and all on yet another glorious Thursday.
Today I am in Springsure staying at a caravan park next to the roadhouse. Roadhouses are wonderful places, usually in the middle of nowhere they provide just about every service a traveller can want including food and accommodation.
Never stayed here before but at $27 a night for a powered site I am not going to complain. Fuel is a bit on the high side but that is mainly due to transport costs and the lack of competition.
Drove a touch over 400km today.
Am all set up for a quiet afternoon relaxing and reading. For your amuzement here is a Queensland bottle tree.
Have a thrilling Thursday.
Take care…

Good morning everyone, bright and sunny, it’s going to be another very warm day. May Day here today, national holiday, many people going away on a long weekend. Not me.
My son’s just gone fishing, I told him not to bring back any fish but he insists he will if he catches something. When he brings back one or two, he cleans them and cooks them himself. I prefer buying the fish I eat from my local fish - monger or supermarket, I just won’t go near a fish that has just been fished!
Gives me the shivers, I don’t know why, I just get all “queazy”.
I feel sorry for it, too.
Interesting looking tree @Bruce, enjoy the rest of your trip.
Have a great, sunny day everyone.

Hi
Good Morning All.
A very warm dry day expected and it is Polling Day for the local elections.
I do wish that we had another box to tick.
None of the above.
The choice I have today is trying to find the least stupid of the bunch.
The rest of the day will be spent messing about with chemicals attempting to get the water parameters better in the new reek aquarium.
Have a great day all.

Good morning - A hot dry day is forecast. Just right for going to the pub for the Thursday lunchtime pint and a bag of crisps. There are a few jobs in need of doing and I might do those …or I might just be a lazy whatsit and sit in the Sun for a while.
Have a good day everyone.

@Bruce I can’t help but feel a little envious of you. You must be enjoying your travels so much, getting to change scenery and meet new people. I love the tree you photographed; it looks so unique.
@rose2 I’m one of those people who loves eating fish, but I wouldn’t kill one myself. Like you, I choose to buy it from the supermarket. Even with other types of food, I prefer to buy things that don’t involve me having to kill anything. I know killing animals for food is considered normal, but I’ve been like this since I was young, feeling uneasy and with a trembling heart, just like you described.

Good morning!
Bright, sunny, clear, and warm!
I’m expecting two parcel deliveries today, so while I’m staying in I’m continuing to pack away my camping gear, and have a general tidy
Later this afternoon or evening I’ll go and vote

Morning all. Another sunny day down here in Hampshire and another month gone by - but another month closer to our cruise. “Mrs G” is in full dress-buying mode, cleaning out every shop in a ten-mile radius. Next will be shoes, then handbags, then hair & nails…
Meanwhile, I’m just thinking about important stuff, like buying a new lens for my camera for the trip as my last one has had its day and needs to be retired.

Morning all – lovely sunny day again
Spent some time sitting in the garden enjoying the sunshine again yesterday. Couldn’t stay out for too long I have to be careful as I burn easily – I do have a garden umbrella but the base it quite heavy and I need help to move it. I would ask my neighbour but he has recently undergone surgery and isn’t allowed to lift anything heavy
Plan for today is the usual Thursday meet up with the girls – hoping to see a lady who hasn’t attended for a while due to being unwell
Take care – have a great day

Good morning from Foxy’s world…
17 degrees C at seven this morning and time to get the walk done before it gets too hot.
The Hawthorn’s are in full blossom and I couldn’t resist this shot as I disappeared down Moor Lane and away from the busy road…
Further down the lane I came across this Horse Chestnut on the left, also in full blossom…
As I finally left the canal towpath and back into the village, I paid my respects to all who have worshiped here since the 12th century. I got married here and expect to be presided over at the end…
I just got back in time to put my green box (bottles) out for the bin men…
Don’t look at me
Take it up with Mrs Fox…

Just nudging up to 24 degrees and I’ve just got back from doing my civic duties before it gets too hot to go out, and besides, the snooker semi-finals start at 1:00pm…

A good few years ago I was standing at the front of the aisle waiting for Sue. Then I heard a noise behind me so I turned and there she was. she was slowly walking up the aisle so I said. To her hurry up. They have 4 crates of Stella larger for the price of 3
