Another warm, sunny day - though according to BOM a storm is coming on Friday.
My morning has been mostly throwing stuff in the car, emptying rubbish bins and generally getting ready to leave.
Early this afternoon I am driving to Canberra though my route at the moment is unclear - Wollongong is hosting an International Triathlon so there are a lot of rolling road closures until the weekend. However if I go via Macquarie Pass Bowral has a cycle race too. Caught between a rock and a hard place.
Anyway I shall probably set off just after 1pm and should be in Canberra by 4.30pm.

Bright and sunny today, but clouds threaten rain later here on the south coast.
Just come back from my daily walk. Mrs G is off to the gym shortly, possibly followed by a cream tea later. Not a great deal to add, other than that. Had my eye test yesterday, which gave me a splitting headache for the rest of the day, the eyedrops managed to scramble both my eyesight and brain, making me feel queasy.
second time this week going to the dump. this time 2 monitors -monitor box and of course more acorns.
Now using a BenQ monitor that came yesterday a the Dell very so often shows a single vertical line due to a diode breaking down oresomething. Gets really annoying. this BenQ monitor only released last year so latest model.
was it worth it?yes. the pictures are clearer and vibrant also more control with the round unit it came with.

Same here Swimmy, very calm and still with not a breath of wind, it made for a very pleasant walk/run this morning almost equalling my best time this year.
Anyone else experiencing a slow forum this morning? Or is it my internet connection?
We seem to missing a few regulars just lately, Chili and Sheila, I hope they are both okay.
Postman’s just dropped a few bills through my door so I’ll see if there is enough in the kitty to pay them. If not, I’ll be sitting in the dark with just some bread and dripping for lunch…
News just in…After a speed check on my internet it was found to be in the low 40’s mbps for outgoing and incoming, so a swift call to Quickline and the engineers has been tinkering about with some gubbins and it seems a good bit faster than it was…

Good morning everyone, rainy day today, at least it’s not windy, just calm, steady rain.
I’ve also been having trouble connecting to the forum Foxy, and I was also wondering about Sheila and Chilli, hope everything’s OK with them.
I had some firewood delivered the other day but still not lighting fireplace or wood stove yet, we usually start around mid November.
The days are getting shorter at such a fast rate, time change in ten days’ time!
Anyway, at least we have Halloween to look forward to?
At the supermarket I noticed the first panettones on the shelves and I realised that Christmas is only a couple of months away, where does time go?
