Good morning to you all on another warm, sunny, tropical day.
It is all coming to an end for me, I am heading south. Still not sure which way I will go but I have until tomorrow to decide. Once I get to Threeways Roadhouse I have to decide if I am going east or south. I can procrastinate until then.
I had a lovely time in Darwin, last night went out for a farewell dinner, as luck would have it, it was steak night at the pub so they had $25 steaks, naturally I couldn’t resist. Unfortunately I forgot to take a pic until I had eaten some (see missing portion bottom centre )
Not working today, just some housework to catch up on and that’s about as exciting as it gets.
Weren’t you just a little concerned about that mini bushfire Bruce, don’t those type of blazes have a habit of spreading BIG time in Australia?
Steak dinner has got me all fired up anyway
It’s only breakfast time here!
The Sun is hiding behind the clouds but it’s still warm and dry. The timetable today is pub at 12.00 and a fellow is coming here at 2.00 p,m to talk business matters. Putting the plants in the garden that were bought yesterday will have to wait until tomorrow.
Hoping everyone has a good day
Edit: I have changed my mind about it being warm. I just rode my bike and it was blinkin’ freezing. In fact, the outside thermometer is showing only 14ºC. That’s around 10ºC lower than this time yesterday. It must be the end of life as we know it.
Another hot and sunny day again here down in the deep south of Hampshire. Today looks like its domestic chores day for me, need to catch up on some jobs around the house. Tomorrow, I may be doing a paid shoot in Salisbury Cathedral, so I need a little time charging batteries, cleaning lenses etc etc. - but this is all uncertain at the moment.
Naturally, before I do anything, time for my coffee and biscuits.
Morning Everyone from Roberts Residence…
Overcast, blustery and cold this morning 11 degrees C and not forecast to get much warmer.
Even some jogging didn’t keep my hands warm.
It’s Blue and Green bin day here, with green boxes for all of Mrs Fox’s wine bottles…
A pesky pigeon seems to have taken a liking to my flowering Hawthorn…I try to throw stones at it but my aim is woefully off the mark…When I was a boy, I could hit anything that moved from 100 yards…
I’ll catch it and drive it down to Basingstoke…
It’ll probably be home before me…
