Good Morning Thursday, 15th February 2024

Good morning all, I hope you have recovered from all that lovemaking on Valentine’s Day. Don’t worry, I am just jealous.

An overcast morning after a cool night, I had to get under the doona when it got down to 19°, only 23° max is forecast for today, though it is starting to get a bit brighter.

I was starving this morning after my walk as I had to wait for the Pathologist to open at 8.30am for a routine blood test. Fasting is a beast.

I have grandparenting duties later, my DiL and grandkids arrive from Canberra this arvo, the youngest one (and the dog) is being left with me while the adult and eldest child go to Sydney to see a Blink 182 (??) concert on the weekend. I am supplying earplugs

Well, have a good one, hard to believe we are half way through February already.

Enjoy your day.

Morning everyone. Another dull overcast day with heavy rain forecast for later (I think the gardener may be cancelling again!)

Had a surprise phone call yesterday from my brother, it appears he is missing me now I have returned from my 2 month visit with him. Spent 20 minutes insulting each other - ended the phone call laughing!

Neighbour invited me in for coffee and cake in the afternoon - I left with a box of home made cup-cakes (there goes my diet - but it would have been rude to refuse them!)

Meeting friends for coffee this morning with (very) little housework this afternoon

Hope everyone has a lovely day

Good Morning from Foxy’s Gaff… :classical_building:
They should start issuing badges and certificates for a complete circuit of Ikea…
I consider myself fairly fit, but I was hanging on by the time we reached the tills…Mrs Fox had her usual bag of extremely useful items to checkout, and they will find a place next to extremely useful items she bought last time we visited.
The meatballs, mash and peas were nice though… :yum:
Our daughter was getting a bit panicky when she thought that we wouldn’t make it back to the garage to collect her car (it was in for some maintenance) and it had been ready for collection 2 hours ago :open_mouth:. The traffic coming out of Sheffield was horrendous, accidents and roadworks, but she hadn’t taken into account that her dad used to be a ‘White Van Man’ and quite used to receiving a rigid middle finger or the sound of a horn. And once again he delivered the goods just in time… :sunglasses:
The thermometer outside said 12 degrees C so It was shorts as I squelched my way around a muddy five mile route. Just as well really, because I was too warm in my thin fleece whenever I burst into a jog.
I’m out of breath now, so an easy day planned…It was before midday when I started writing this, so I think Good Afternoon might be more appropriate…
