Good Morning Thursday 13th June 2024

Good morning to everybody who follows here.

A very cold day for me I only ventured out in my feather, puffer jacket, I think it is supposed to be only 15° today.

This morning was my seniors’ club meeting so I was quite busy but it was in the council community centre so, of course it was lovely and warm.

Apart from that outing I intend to find jobs indoors today.

Hope you are all warm, what do you have planned for today?

Good morning @Bruce and everyone, sunny day, only 18C for now but it’s very early still, 7am. We’ll probably reach late 20s later on in the afternoon.
My tomato plants have quite a few flowers now, don’t know how my olive trees are getting on, we’ll have to wait another few weeks to see if they will be worth harvesting or not, in October.

Sending warm sunshine to anyone who may need it :sun_with_face:

Good morning Bruce, Rose, and everyone

Cold here today…starting with 8 degrees, rising to an “almighty” 14 degrees by lunch. For June, this is ridiculously cold.

Concentrating on chores and food shopping, today since its a day off. If I get everything ticked off my list, I shall treat myself to an adventure tomorrow

Have a lovely day!

Morning all, another sunny start to the day but – yes you’ve guessed it - heavy rain due later! I think summer has decided to give UK a miss this year and we have gone straight to Autumn! :fallen_leaf:

Gardener has refilled the planters which now look very colourful – hope the squirrels don’t dig these plants up! :chipmunk:

I did suggest a deal with the beast that I would feed her and she wouldn’t leave me any gifts – well she let me know this morning what she thought of that one! She had thrown up overnight – twice! Once by the radiator and again by the door to the conservatory – at least it wasn’t on the carpet! She allowed me to scratch her head when I arrived but once I had fed her she wouldn’t let me near her and again refused to go out, just sat in the chair staring at me – I think she is planning something evil! :icon_twisted:

Today is my weekly meeting with a bunch of friends for coffee, cake and gossip

Take care – hope everyone has a lovely day

Time isn’t valued by
How much of it you have but how
you spend it. So stop
Rushing through life.
Slow down and
Do what will make you
A little better than
yesterday.

Have a safe and lovely Thursday

Actually that was more or less the temperature range here for today. Of course it is winter but there has been an Antarctic pool of air over central NSW which has led to these very much below average temperatures and the rest of the week doesn’t look much better.

The average max temp for June is about 18° and already this month we have had twice the average rainfall for the whole of June which explains my car getting bogged.

Pfft! We also have cold air coming in from Greenland and Iceland, accounting for our cooler temps too. However, allegedly we are in for above average temps by the weekend, so that’s nice…perhaps.

Roasty-toasty here as evidenced by the first rumblings of tropical disturbances in the gulf and Atlantic. Here we go :cyclone:!

A bunch of twenty-somethings are taking over the beach place with my kids for some surfing, socializing, and sun, so I’m up-and-at-'em to polish up the place. I like it when the kids do this, so much better than swiping left and right…

Have a nice day!

Good Day (what’s left of it) from Foxy’s World… :heartbeat:
Didn’t have time to join in the Thursday morning festivities as I had an early appointment with the cardiac nurse. We discussed my recent heart issues and what we were going to do about it. She suggested I take advantage of the gym provided on the NHS for heart attack victims, exercise can be taken while being closely monitored. I accepted and then celebrated with a full English at the nearest greasy spoon… :face_with_hand_over_mouth:
She was impressed by my fitness and optimistic attitude though… :man_running: :biking_man:
Spent an hour sat in the car reading spoilers for next weeks Coronation Street on me phone, while Mrs Fox and friend proceeded to buy shares in the local B&M…I think I need a bigger boot… :shopping_cart: :shopping_cart: :shopping_cart: :shopping_cart: :shopping_cart::astonished:
