Have you ever seen 2 crows fighting?
This morning, after breakfast, I threw out the bacon rinds which I’d cut off the bacon before frying it. One crow flew out of the nearby woods and was on the rinds like quick sharp. Crow 2 was a little slower and lost out but gave crow 1 a damned good pecking. The squabbling and cawing over one last tiny piece of rind was very funny to watch.

It’s been a cloudless blue sky all day for a change, but chilly. Makes you really appreciate a nice day after all the grey and wet ones we’ve had recently. It doesn’t start getting dark quite so early when its been a bright day, either, so that’s another bonus.
Bruce, sorry, but I have to say I agree with Jazzi about the choke chain idea.
That bad idea went out with the ark over here, I don’t know anyone who would use one nowadays , even more so on a young puppy! There are much kinder and more rewarding ways to help her understand rather than risk damaging her throat.
Mountains of ironing piled up, not my favourite job, but better get on with that after tea.
