The wheels are ready for new tyres too. It is annoying that the old tyres still have plenty of tread but they are 10 years old, they are the first tyres I have had to discard because of their age rather than lack of tread.
Good morning!
A bit cloudy, but warm and no rain …
… let’s hope it stays that way as I’m going to Trawden Show, a village near Burnley
Besides a general look round I’ll be helping with the stand for the Men’s Shed
It’s going to be another stinker temperature wise - thirty degrees according to The BBC! I’m off out with Chilli jnr this afternoon, two local bands playing outside the pub, mustn’t forget the sunscreen. I’ve just been faffing around sorting out cameras and the appropriate footwear.
My Sister came to see me by Coach yesterday, first time I had seen her in over 3 years.
Absolutely brilliant day.
I am quite ill at the moment, so drifted off in less than 3 hours.
She spent the rest of the afternoon in the Quarry and the Dingle in Town absolutely stunning flowers.
I had the good fortune to meet a Carer who is fully medically qualified for Personal Care, they are Ex Police, a Sergeant in charge of a response van in London.
Aw, Swimmy, you’ve made my entire morning all sunshine and smiles!
What a wonderful Saturday you had! And the added benefit of that newly employed caregiver, you’ll have stories to swap, and good care given to you.
