Well it doesn’t look as if anyone has started a good morning thread for today, so here goes! Hmm, can’t use a title that’s been used before, so will have to put the date in each time. Or something 
Good Morning everyone, on this slightly dull and wet morning in the South West. I think many of us are slowly getting the hang of the new look here, but it’s a pity one or two have said they won’t be staying with us.
Not a lot planned for today, might bake a cake later…

Good morning @Bathsheba and everyone! Its raining here, warm and the bin lorries are rumbling around. I’m sorry too, Sheba that some have said they wouldn’t be using it. Its a big shock for those that have been here for years, I know. Maybe they might return. A few have yet still to arrive, as well, so hopefully everything will settle down in a few days. 
Anyway, I have no plans for today so far…chores mostly. Have a lovely day everybody

It’s a beautiful glorious sunny day here. No plans for today so I guess I’ll be learning the new site better for most of the day! Tomorrow is a BH so it’s a lovely long weekend for me
Emojis option, in fact the entire menu options has ‘disappeared when replying.
I think using the @mention is a better option then one can see your mentions in your menu to respond better until we get used to the new format:-)

Good morning all, another wet day here at the moment. Youngest grandson text last night to say he had a parcel being delivered today, so will expect a visit once it has arrived.

I have spent ages trying to post a good morning thread, to no avail.
It keeps wanting to go in Home and DIY.
Yes I have to agree posting a new thread is somewhat tricky - I was totally flummoxed by the ‘tag’ box which gave me a drop down menu of four tags and told me to select at least one. What? They were all completely irrelevant! Took me a while to cotton onto the fact I could just type in my own tag!

Hi, Bathsheba & everyone. Pouring with rain here as well, certainly not Summer in Devon today. Not going anywhere or doing much, though Daughter will be here around lunch time to beg lunch off me.

Definite Autumnal fee to the day - but I prefer that to the horrendous heatwave of last month. Going to make some soup later - Mushroom and Garlic.

Late in the day I know, hello every one, it was hammering with rain at 5 am this morning, I was awake anyway going into work for a bit of double time.
bit late in the day for me, couldn’t find any sign of a good morning thread at 6am, so i sat and watched the rain, life is hard, innit
I think we have to put the date on it now…it won’t let us repeat the days if there is already one there. Besides, you could always start a Good Afternoon thread!
