Good morning all, up early today to take my daughter to hospital for her surgery. Our granddaughter is asleep upstairs and is very upset at not waking up with Mumma, but we’ve told her she can go in and wake Grandpa up when she wants to get up.
Nothing planned, because I shall be waiting for the call from the hospital to go and pick her up.

Tiz sunny here down along the south coast, but a northerly blowing across and from The South Downs has a chill to it, so the heat is belting out in my home and of course adding to the heating costs. . . roll on spring 
Good morning everyone a blustery bright morning and my sheets are already on the line drying in the fresh air.
I am going to give Chloe a bit of a tidy while it is warmer . I think I might pop to the vets to get her paw checked her pad is still causing problems. I hesitated to go so far because she is so traumatised going there after the operations she had in September and being left there, she shakes uncontrollably and pants with fear.

The forecast is for a dry and mostly sunny morning. A little more cloud expected into the afternoon but a good amount of sunshine still on offer. Today’s maximum temperature 12 °C, tonight’s minimum is to be 2 °C. Roll on spring!
Nothing much planned other than keeping in the warm, maybe some paperwork to sort out but that’s all, thank goodness.

I can relate to that @Meg , with Alfie as soon as we turn the corner half a mile from the vet’s, he begins to whimper and quiver, it’s so distressing and we are always riddled with guilt…

It’s just on freezing here at the moment, but the sun is already out, no clouds in sight for the day. It will get me out for a needed walk this afternoon.

Thank you everyone for your good wishes. My daughter is now home, with a very sore tummy, and feeling a bit wobbly, but she’s ok. The surgery went well. She’s staying overnight with us, but wants to go home tomorrow, which is fine cos I’m only a couple of miles from her if she needs any help.
Been at work and just caught up @Bathsheba glad all went home and she has a good night first nights sleep after an operation is always lovely.
