I expect @Bruce is on the road and will log in later
Overcast out there ,on my walk to get my repeat prescription yesterday, I was passing the green grocer, who always as a selection of plants outside ,I bought a Rose ,very nice scented , and an Hydrangea bush ,both were at a much lower price than at the Garden Centres .
Ive had a few plants from this shop , as the price is so good .
Ive no plans for today, Have a wonderful day everyone .
Good Morning. Going to a jigsaw puzzle exchange later this morning, should have been yesterday but because of the rain it has been posponed till today.
Good morning!
Dull, damp, cold first thing but it is gradually improving
Yesterday was quite productive; I tidied & vacuumed my living room, wrote a letter, sorted a kitchen cupboard, and identified a blade & handle materials, though I have yet to work on them
Not so good today, so far
I woke up feeling cold & bleary, I even put the heating on for a couple of hours; had a shower, put on some warm clothing, and now I’m having another cup of tea
I feel slightly better; soon I’ll have a sort of brunch, and a walk round the park
Morning all – overcast but the sun is trying to break through which is an improvement on yesterday’s heavy rain
I tried ringing the local authority 6 times on Friday morning but couldn’t get through – the recycling was finally collected around 4.00pm Friday afternoon!
Good news and bad news. The good news is that I went along to have the lesions on my face photographed, was told it wasn’t melanoma because it was the wrong colour. Now have to wait to hear from the dermatologist about any possible treatment to get rid of them!
The bad news is that one of my brothers-in-law had a stroke yesterday morning (my husband’s younger brother) – the poor man is already battling cancer. He is now in hospital and I am waiting to hear how badly he will be affected.
Only plans for today is to wait for the delivery of yet more books and also get around to doing the ironing which I have been ignoring for a week!
I can’t say good morning because it is evening, so it good evening from me to @Eliza and all who followed. I am in freezing Canberra for a few days , -1° tonight, it’s hell.
From Goulburn to well into the ACT it was foggy but suddenly from northern Canberra to the south it was brilliant sunshine, I will put up some pics tomorrow.
Drove down this morning then spent the rest of the day helping my daughter with her van build (I use the word “help” very loosely). This evening we went to the club for a meal and a beer.
Early to bed tonight am pretty tired. All the excitement of a visit to Bunnings tomorrow.
Here in Sussex it’s cloudy, sunny, windy, breezy, mishmash weather! Good for drying the washing I suppose.
I’ve just popped over the road to the Indian grocery for our weekly chilli and ginger supplies. I got the hot zingy greens, they have a fresh delivery tomorrow which is good, I’ll stock up on the other varieties then!
Once again Amazon have come up trumps (not him) as far as second hand books are concerned.
This one was £3.42 in very good condition with free postage! A really fascinating piece of London social history. I’ll be doing plenty of reading up as I have a couple of days trips to London planned in the next two weeks or so. First stop includes Camden and Kentish Town and then on the second excursion The East End, other places too. Photos will be taken!
Just a quick clearup of twigs etc that have come down jn the garden with the high winds. apart from that sold a camera flashgun I don’t use any more not having any Nikon camera equipment now, changed over to Panasonic. So ordered one for the camera I now have .
Just a trip to the P.O to send the parcel tomorrow
