Good morning to all who follow on yet another sunny, cool winter’s weekend.
My daughter arrived yesterday arvo with a Mitsubishi Delica on her trailer. She is going to convert it into a campervan, hopefully before our trip to the Oodnadatta track. This is how she treats her Jimny
In the early evening we went to the club for a meal before they drove with their prize back to Canberra, We had a good evening out but I was very full at the end of it.
Decided to have a food free day today after yesterday’s meal.
Yesterday was hectic, free electricity for an hour in the afternoon, my supplier had more renewable than needed, so Shiv and wife and daughter came for the fortnightly clean.
Two loads of washing, batch cooking in the oven and air fryer, vac and carpet cleaner etc., outside the washer on the patio and paths.
Never say no to a Freebie.
What a great daughter you have, very adventurous.
We don’t have the Mitsubishi Delica here, but look great.
They’re just a people mover here with seating for eight. Currently it is unregistered though it has NSW plates, she has to get in registered in the ACT with all the seats then she can convert it into a camper.
Happy…Sunday folks? Had to look in the calendar to see what the day actually was! Walk into town, then trying my hand at kleftiko early afternoon…hope it goes well as it takes 6 hours to make!
Morning! Another Lake District day but no plans (idyllic!). Reading on a balcony and probably having a real explore of this forum finally! Have a great day everybody
Hi everyone! Sorry, it’s been a while. Life very much getting in the way! Nice to finally have a relaxing Sunday ahead. Hope you’re all well, nice to be back on here x
Nice to see so many forumers up and about already this Sunday morning! You just beat me to it Carly
Looks like you’ve already started on the sauce Mick
It looks like heavy rain today… good, we need it
Being a bit of a traditionalist it’s just a mellow, chilled Sunday planned for us.
Good Sunday morning to everyone, another hot day in store for us, just nice and warm at the moment so making the most of it, lazying around outside in my backyard, perusing the forum. Well I did spend hours yesterday morning sweeping away dead leaves and dried up grass and weeds, so my Sunday treat today, doing nothing.
No cherries on my cherry trees, no pears on my pear trees, reminds me of a song “where have all the flowers (fruits in my case) gone?”
Enjoy your holiday @CarlyB, being so hot here @Chilliboot, I would choose strawberry but since you’re getting a rainy day…?
Bloomin’ heck, you lot are a right set of early risers aren’t you! My alarm went off about 10 minutes ago and I couldn’t believe how late I slept in. Luckily not got a busy day ahead x
Afternoon All…
Up and out early this morning, it was looking like rain and I’m taking Mrs Fox to the local school for another table top sale when I get back. I got wet on my walk/jog as it started to rain half way round my five miler, but I went prepared and although it rained it was still quite warm.
I left her at the sale and returned home for a shower and breakfast. I love it nice and quiet and I can peruse the forum until my hearts content. Unfortunately though, it’s my turn to cook the dinner for when she gets home, and there’s still some packing to do for our five days away in Llandudno tomorrow…Couple of tee shirts and shorts should do it…Although trousers and shirt for the evening meal, its a posh hotel…
You get free electricity @swimfeeders because they always produce sustainable energy when no bugger needs it. I doubt you’ll get it free in the winter when there’s only two hours of daylight and no wind…
