I tried two siblings yesterday but only one called back later. Still wondering where my brother got to, but will try him this morning. His wife has two daughters and often they see them.
Plans for today are, fold up and put away yesterday’s washing. Prep veg for lunch (home made meat loaf), and maybe pop to Tescos.
Looks like rain here too. My bedroom window feels quite cold.
Actually, turns out it is my SiL in hospital! She has recurring urinary tract infections so apart from being put on antibiotics they are trying to work out the root cause.

Can I please ask why you always misspell “neighbour” . I notice you are using the American way of spelling it, so I suppose you come from that part of the world, but it is not in your profile
Woke up feeling a bit bleary & sniffly, though not too serious
After several cups of coffee with a dose of whisky in them I’ve prepared tonight’s tea and done some washing
But still not feeling too lively, so I’ll probably spend the rest of the day indoors
I’m wearing my new trainers indoors to break them in; they don’t need much, but I always do that sort of thing
Thanks Ripple. Brother sold his car a few weeks ago and is now spending a fortune on cabs, not only for visiting my SiL but for other hospital appts they have had since. He reckons he spent £200 on cabs this past week alone.
Kazz, he will be 77 in July, but also was recently diagnosed as having Parkinson’s, earlier thought of as ‘essential tremors’. (And other health issues). My SiL, who also has poor health, didn’t want to drive, so they decided it would be best to get rid. I think he couldn’t bear the thought of form filling to those that needed to know of his Parkinson’s.
Younger sis saw him a week or so back and said he is very ‘diddery doddery’.
