Good morning everyone, no idea what the weather is doing yet but it’s forecast to be another warm dry day here so no complaints…
The usual walk in the forest first thing for us today, then we’ll be going over to Mum’s house to do some tidying up in the garden, which is looking rather neglected.

Restless night due to coughing up acid which happens from time to time.
Jobs for the day will be steam clean the bathroom while Mrs Dex is at church, then steam clean an old fridge we’ve got undercover outside.
Will see how things go time wise and maybe have a stroll round a local park in the afternoon.

Up early today. A few lessons planned and a bit of work on my studies. I have a few chores to do around our home before prepping for tomorrow, so a relatively sedate one today.

Did not enjoy my walk this morning - too warm and muggy…
Vegs all prepped for tonight’s dinner - baby potatoes, carrots, butter beans, and fennel. Have a piece of braising steak waiting to be simmered for an hour of three, and some mushroom/onion/red wine gravy to make.
The forecast is for clouds, rain, and thunder storms - so am not planning on going anywhere!

I think I must be the only person in this lovely weather to have woken up with a raging cold.
I am going through the box of tissues at an alarming rate.
I am noticing the effects of 3 weeks in bed, somewhat weak and uncoordinated, I am having to be sensible, which I loath.
A fall however would put be back in hospital and I want to avoid that at all costs.
My plan for today is frequent short walks, no more than 20 steps, to retrain my muscles.

I have fed and medicated the dog and shooed her outside, much to her disgust. Sitting having a coffee on the doorstep now, waiting for Amazon to arrive with some cooking spices. Nothing else planned at the moment.
