Good morning everyone on a lovely sunny Sunday, temperature is perfect, in the mid 20s, its warm, no wind, all is well with the world.
Actually I really don’t have much planned for today, annoyingly it is the first day of daylight savings, I did most of my clocks last night only the car and microwave remain on AEST. Naturally my watch was the hardest to do, I had to get the manual out to change the hands but even that is done now.
Spent a bit of time in the garage continuing my tidying, I gathered together all those useful off cuts of wood and stored them in a box so they are ready for action when I need them. It was a struggle but I even managed to throw away a couple of very small pieces, proud of myself.
About 11am decided to get the laundry done so even that is now on the line, should be dry by mid arvo.
Grand Final footie today (NRL) so I probably won’t turn on the TV until the 7pm news when I will find out what happened. Apparently one team, the Knights, were wooden spooners last year so I guess they have done well

There was a terrific sunset yesterday as I popped over the road to the shop, a mix of orange and purplish blue. We have vapour trails a plenty in the sky being so close to Gatwick Airport, they can sometimes look really quite stunning. Of course I didn’t have a proper film camera with me!
Just doing stuff at home today, cooking, snacking and chilling in readiness for the week. I just don’t have the inclination to go anywhere in particular

Chilly and misty earlier this morning, now blue skies, sunshine, and 15 degrees - not bad at all!
Spent yesterday sorting out a new TV. Would love to have something larger than 32 inch, but unfortunately there is only one place for a TV in the front room, and anything bigger would be impractical so another 32 but ‘smart’ this time.
Went to a very well known store to have a look at the range on offer (as you do) and the young assistant was very helpful and clued up about the technical side of everything, but after the first five minutes my attention started to drift - i’m just not into technical stuff, just show me how to turn it on!
Anyway should have a brand new ‘smart’ TV next week.
Chilli, Sunday is made for ‘snacking and chilling’, and don’t feel you have to do anything more strenuous than that.
