Did a bucketload of financial transactions to start the month.
When I got up, I found out it was raining. Yay! There was a better than decent chance that it would be quiet enough without the neighbors blasting noise to focus on those transactions.
After that, I made a phone call and watched some shows online.
I’m still doing the morning pages for the 4th day. I’m still not committed to continuing.
We have snow, a good few inches, you can’t see the road kerbs.
It is still below freezing, but rain expected after lunch, then freezing again tonight.
I like snow, but not slush and ice.
Paula was here yesterday, but saw very little of her, she went shopping for me, I was too bad to go with her and she got stuck in the traffic after an accident, literally for hours.
The sky is as white as the snow, so inside, again, trying to get my solar lanterns working.
Very cold and wet here, and can expect rain on and off all day. While it’s been bitterly cold I let Holly in the garden for wees after her morning walk, and then take her out later, as usual. But realised today is Sunday. Our friend/neighbour works in the card shop 12-7, and we always pop in to see her, round about lunchtime. I am not sure I want to do that today. We will see. When we go through the door I let go of Holly’s lead and laugh at her little legs running to our friend. If she’s behind the counter serving, Holly coos for her. Such a sweet sound.
Good Morning from Foxy’s World…
Well, well, well, about an inch of snow fell in the night and the sky is still a funny yellow colour, I suspect that there is more snow, or rain, on the way.
Undaunted I set off on my Sunday 5 mile walk/jog up snickets, by the side of busy roads (not so busy today) and over fields and down lanes. It seemed easier to jog over the slippy bits, something to do with momentum I believe. I thought I would have the lane to myself this morning, how wrong I was…Dog walkers, solo walkers, joggers and even bikers…
What’s a matter with people!
Had a spat with Mrs Fox over a dehumidifier, why is it that our daughter spent a couple of hours on google and has turned into an expert on dehumidifiers. When I have spent the best part of my life being an engineer and doing electrical stuff …And I know nothing…According to Mrs Fox…
Well they all can do one!
