Somewhat quieter here today - Malik seems to have blown himself out - did a lot of damage though - didn’t he?
Have a Sainsbury’s order due between 10:30am and 11:30am - then friends are collecting me about 2:00pm - we are off to the Wetherby Whaler for a late lunch - the last of my birthday treats! It has been such fun - only 12 months to wait for the next one!

More wrapping and packing today and need to think about dismantling the wooden flooring and lino.

I used up several old apples yesterday to make two apple crumbles. I’ll be taking one up to my daughter this morning, along with a couple of items of clothing I’ve repaired for my granddaughter.
Nothing much else on the agenda for today. Enjoy your day folks

Quite a frost here today but the wind has dropped and it’s nice and sunny so no complaints. 
No plans fir the day but not much to do outside, although I may be tempted to set some more seeds going on the windowsill, although I’d have to thaw out the compost first…

I am waiting for Screwfix to call and say the tap that should have been in stock has arrived and I can pick it up.
Lunch is prepared, vegetable chilly with wild rice and cucumber yogurt then gooseberries .

Good morning all! We have had a nice stroll up the hill and round the schools. It’s bright, sunny, and just 3C. Yet, the weather says it’s cloudy!
My wife has popped in to see our neighbour, the one that has Ozzie.They usually chat for a while. I go home.
Swim, when I walked past the pub earlier I could smell the carvery meat cooking. Most definitely seemed like pork and apple! It was divine. I almost wanted to forfeit my mint marinading lamb chops!

Cooked Sunday roast and took dads up and soent an hour with him. My son is coming for roast dinner.
I have been watching CHEER on netflix, I’ve really enjoyed it so I’ll watch some more when my son has gone home.

My fence blew down yesterday morning I was woken to my neighbour knocking to tell me. It broke the posts so it needs replacing as it’s left my back garden exposed. I can’t just let loki in the garden at the moment which is a pain. All these houses on this close and it has to be mine that blows down and breaks 
could have done without this.

This time of year retired “snowbirds” come down from the north to spend the season. Restaurants universally report a significant increase in theft of salt and pepper shakers, candles, decorative items, flatware, dishes…pretty much anything not nailed down. 
I like to remind others about that trend when they are griping about young people around here.
It was so nice outside this morning we actually sat outside for coffee.
