Dull and grey again, with showers forecast for most of the day. Oh well, just as well I don’t have to go out at all. My project today is to make a new pencil case for my granddaughter. She wants one with the face of her favourite dragon embroidered on the front. Coming up!
Just back from dog walk, and finishing breakfast. Don’t need to go shopping just yet, milk and main meal out of freezer, defrosting.
No plans, let’s just see what happens, but might do a bed linen change wash. As I stuff the outgoing into my wardrobe, I sometimes don’t remember till I come to change it again. Ooops.
Not much planned today. Taking Dad a full Sunday roast up. We always have roast dinner on Sunday. I’ll spend an hour with Dad bringing the world to rights then home. Walk through the woods with Loki.
I’m popping round to one of my friends for a coffee and chat later this afternoon.
I’ve had a good lie in thanks to the painkillers I take for my trapped nerve. They knocked me out for 10 hours!!
My trapped nerve is a lot better than it was - but just when I think it’s better it gives a little twang!
This afternoon I’m taking Tony for a drive to a village in the Derbyshire Dales I knew as a child. We’ll have a walk round the village & maybe end up in Matlock town for a drink.
I cooked us a roast dinner yesterday & saved 2 portions to warm up today so no cooking when we get back.
No other plans - just going to watch TV & eat more chocolate. We’ve got mountains of it!!
Got the duvet cover on the line blowing in the breeze, but the sheet and pillow case have to stay inside (no room on the line). Have to watch the weather.
Put monthly tablets into strips, marked on calendar when I need to reorder. Removed name labels and cut up with the multi blade scissors. Rubbish in bin.
Found a pencil (under the sideboard, saved having to find another), pencilled in debits in the yearly cash diary.
Bread out to defrost for lunch (meat won’t defrost till later).
Dog been mithering me. Don’t know what she wants so out the garden, I will do myself a coffee, then walk her.
