Good Morning Sunday 29th September

Good Morning from Roberts Residence…
:biking_man:
Very cold hurtling around my 15 mile country course on the bike this morning, I thought my hands would drop off before I got home. Hardly any breeze, and with some scattered clouds, hardly any sun either…Just 6 degrees C with a spine chilling mist descending on the fields and forests…Brrrrrrrrrrrr
Hope Bruce is Okay…?
A nice day out at Bridlington yesterday, with a smashing meal of Chicken Curry with rice at the Eastfield Garden Centre. They certainly did us proud with regular menu changes each week.
:yum:
Took a drive along the sea front before setting off for home…

Lovely sunny day and very warm while sat in the car…A bit bracing if you got out though…

Good afternoon - It’s all very well having a fairly large and green garden to look after until something goes wrong with your health. Then tasks that were easy a year back get quite tiring. I persisted though and have it all done. Lawn edges trimmed, acorns swept and all.

I normally won’t cut the grass on a Sunday so neighbours can get a peaceful time but I don’t think anyone will be out there today. It only takes about 15 minutes with the cordless mower anyway.

The lads will be round later to give us the usual noisy Sunday visit. I grumble but don’t really mind. They only stay an hour or so.

Have a good rest of the day.

Good morning all.

I was very busy on Sunday, (my excuse) I will try to do better.

Still wet on and off but I will have to remember to change the doona on my bed the feathers are far too hot.

No worries Bruce, sometimes reality gets in the way of the internet, but judging by their addiction to anything on a screen, our next generations will correct the distraction…

I feel a bit jealous of your cycling OGF. :disappointed_relieved:
I used to cycle many miles every week and loved it. My Mum got really poorly with dementia and needed a lot of my help. She died at end of 2020. I did try and get back into it but my friend who came with me had knee surgery and even after a lengthy convalescence doesn’t feel confident Cycling again. Sounds a poor excuse but I would rather ride out with someone.
