Morning all!
Woke from a nice rest feeling happy. 
The neighbors were quiet despite the dark clouds disappearing. I started thinking about plans. Then the music started. 
It lasted for about an hour.
I think there is a police patrol checkpoint near here. I can hear sirens close by. I don’t want to get my hopes up, but I’m hoping the stopping of the music was related.
Another day of no plans until I hear (or not) more.

A trip this morning to the retail park, Morrisons being one place as I need to get dog food. Might wander about a few other stores.
Gardening later on, after my roast lunch and Holly’s meal. I found the ideal time yesterday, staying on the allotment till 5. Must get more seedlings in.
Next door must have had a bbq with all the noise. I could smell it coming through the air vents in my kitchen. Hope they’re quieter today.

The bike ride went off as planned, 15 miles around the quiet, sunny, country roads of South Yorkshire. Just a slight breeze, but despite that I put in a decent time.
I think I only saw two vehicles all morning.
It seems to have clouded over now with a cool wind rustling the trees on the green, and the possibility of a spot of rain later.
It doesn’t matter though because I’m going to plan a days Trig point hunting on Tuesday, so out come the maps, then I’ll take it easy for the rest of the day…

A slightly different day. One of my neighbours had an early hosipatal appointment. Rather than leave his dog alone in the house he brought her here. We have recently got a new dog so we weren’t sure how they would get along. It was fine:

Probably because it’s nearly time for me to hit the sack 
Actually, the guy was on to his way to the hospital at 0700 on his way to drop hid wee dog here. She and Dotty had a good around the garden and they came inside at 0830 for breakfast and then had a nap.
